The Last Forecast (“we”, “us”, the “Site”) is an online news publication covering climate and environmental news, available at http://localhost:3000. By accessing the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You may read, link to, and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, republish, or systematically reproduce our content without prior written permission, misrepresent our content as your own, or use the Site in any way that breaks applicable law or interferes with its operation.

3. Content and accuracy

We work to keep our reporting accurate and current, but news evolves quickly and content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Articles may include analysis and opinion attributable to their credited author. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, legal, financial, or safety advice.

4. Advertising

The Site is funded by advertising (including Google AdSense) and by optional ad-free subscriptions. Advertisements are labeled as such. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the sites they link to.

5. Subscriptions

When available, the ad-free subscription is billed through Stripe under the terms shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. EU/UK consumers retain their statutory withdrawal and refund rights, which nothing in these Terms limits.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, graphics, and logos — is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other laws.

7. Third-party links

The Site links to external websites for context and sourcing. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including (for EU/UK consumers) liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and your non-waivable statutory consumer rights.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process and your rights, including your rights under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation.
